Job description

Reporting to the Head of Strategy and Marketing, the Marketing Assistant will help develop and deliver internal and external marketing initiatives in support of the organisations growth and development.

Key deliverables comprise of the timely and cost effective implementation of marketing projects in order to achieve business objectives.

Duties and responsibilities

  • Write press releases, website content, blogs and other required material.
  • Research and identify marketing opportunities for consideration.
  • Write job briefs for third party suppliers.
  • Undertake negotiations with external third party providers of products and services as necessary, ensuring the best possible terms are agreed.
  • Maintain necessary measurement tools to establish return on investment from marketing initiatives.
  • Attend meetings and take minutes.
  • Maintain structured records of all marketing material.

In addition to the duties listed above, the Marketing Assistant may be requested to perform any other ad hoc duties or projects as requested by the Head of Strategy and Marketing.

  • Preferred Graduate Level
  • Must have excellent Microsoft PowerPoint, Word and Excel skills.
  • Previous marketing experience would be advantageous.
