Hayley Webb – Marketing, Brand and Communications Manager, Blue Islands

Representing a new generation of marketers, Hayley brought a fresh approach to the marketing strategy that has seen the most deliverable results to date for the airline.  Responsible for the re-launch of the website, magazine and creative approach using a variety of agencies utilising the best local talent, she leads a growing team who communicate to multiple audiences both locally and internationally.

Beginning her career in London, Hayley’s experience combined with a degree in marketing & advertising communications with PR, means she is well versed in both the commercial requirements and practical deployment of marketing.

 

Lynda Relph-Knight, Independent Design Writer and Consultant

Lynda works with design organisations and consultancies within the UK, mainly, but with a global slant, to promote a better understanding of design across disciplines among clients and within the design professions.

She is an activist within the creative community, known for bringing people together. She hosts regular dinners for designers and is involved in setting up seminars and awards schemes for creative audiences and design students.

Her previous experience was in journalism.  She was editor of Design Week for more than 20 years until 2011 and covers all aspects of commercial design. Her regular journalistic outlets include Architectural Review and Hong Kong lifestyle magazine Gafencu

She is an honorary fellow of the Royal College of Art in London, a Titan (advisor) at the School for Creative Startups and a fellow of the Royal Society of Arts.

 

Lavinia Culverhouse, Managing Director, Designhouse

Lavinia Culverhouse joined design consultancy,  Designhouse in 1994 and has been Managing Director since 1998 working for clients including ING, Ladbrokes, Land Securities, ABN Amro and BAA. Prior to this she was an Account Director at AMV /BBDO working with Alfred Dunhill, Pepsi and Delta Airlines. Lavinia was appointed to the Board of the Design Business Association in 1999 and is a Fellow of the Royal Society of the Arts.
